I am a 21 year old crazy Cuban girl living in Spain (for now).
To add a little background information: I have been traveling (indirectly) since I was 15 when my parents had a “golden” opportunity to have a better life and decided that we had to leave Cuba.
In 2012, we arrived in New Jersey, United States, where, eventually, I started a career in Computer Science. However, I always wondered if that was what I was supposed to do.
Truth is, it wasn’t.
Two-and-a-half years into the career, I decided to move to Spain with my now fiancé.
And here I am. I’ve discovered my passion for travel and my goals have changed. Don’t get me wrong; I still want to have a college diploma, I just haven’t figured out on what yet.
In the meantime, I spend half of the time looking for new cool places to visit and the other half actually going there. I have come to love immersing myself in different cultures, learning new words in different languages, getting lost in foreign cities, and I don’t plan to stop any time soon.
Who is my unconditinal travel and life partner?
Full-time Software Developer but traveler at heart, Sadiel shares with the passion for meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and religions, and admiring new breathtaking views everywhere we go.
With his endless energy and his unstoppable positivism, he has taught me to always see the glass half full and to approach life in a happier, healthier way.
His support is what has made and continues to make this blog possible.
